Payments & Cancellations

We require a deposit of 100% of the booking total in order to confirm your reservation.
In the event that a booking is cancelled for any reason, the following will apply:

Booking Cancelled Forfeit
14 or less (or ‘no show’) 55% (of deposit)
15 – 30 30% (of deposit)
31 or more 15% (of deposit)

  • The customer is responsible for paying the above cancellation fees to the guest house. Days are based on Business days (Monday through Friday 9:00 to 17:00 Philippines Standard Time).
  • If a customer does not provide a VALID credit card, then their reservation may be CANCELLED without notice.
  • If the customer wishes to change their reservation (not cancels, but changes the date of their reservation), we need at least 3 business days prior to the reservation date to make the necessary changes.
  • Please note that we only accept cash Filipino Peso (PHP) at the front desk. Traveler’s checks are not accepted.
  • If you wish to cancel your reservation, please send us an email as soon as possible. If you do not receive a cancellation notice from us, your reservation has NOT been cancelled. If you do not receive a cancellation notice, please contact us again.
  • Kahamut-An Cottages is not responsible for assisting the customer who cancels the reservation or does not appear on the agreed reservation date.

    1. This is a free service
    2. Kahamut-An Cottages proposes a reservation service designed to assist English-speaking travelers to make a reservation at our guest houses. This is a free service to our customers.

    3. Serious enquiries only
    4. In order to keep this a free service, Kahamut-An Cottages asks its customers to make serious enquiries only. Our staff is limited so please be patient and we will try to respond as soon as possible.

    5. Guest house cancellation policy
    6. It is the responsibility of the customer to follow the terms of the cancellation policy as stated above. If the customer makes a reservation and cancels it, Kahamut-An Cottages will not take responsibility for the cancellation. If you wish to cancel your reservation, please send us an email as soon as possible. If you do not receive a cancellation notice from us, your reservation has NOT been cancelled. If you do not receive a cancellation notice, please contact us again.

    7. Reservation changes
    8. If the customer wishes to change their reservation (not cancels, but changes the date of their reservation), we need at least 3 business days prior to the reservation date in order to make the necessary changes. Communication with the customer is by email only, and it takes time to work out the reservation changes. Additional charges may result of a reservation change.

    9. Kahamut-An Cottages is not liable
    10. Kahamut-An Cottages does not operate any facility, and we are not in the position to represent the suitability or otherwise of any facility. Kahamut-An Cottages does not accept liability to any person for the information provided on this website or incorporated into it by reference. Kahamut-An Cottages does not accept any liability for loss or damage incurred by any person as a result of reliance placed upon the content of this website or any other information incorporated by reference or by reservation of a facility or by staying at any facility booked through this website or through Kahamut-An Cottages.

    11. Kahamut-An Cottages is not responsible for companies listed on website
    12. Kahamut-An Cottages is not responsible in any way for the goods and/or services provided by the companies and/or organizations listed in this web site. They are simply a list of links to Philippines and travel related web sites, and Kahamut-An Cottages is not connected to these web sites in any capacity (unless indicated).

    13. Rooms will not be not held until reservation is confirmed
    14. A reservation (or booking) is confirmed after payment of 100% of the booking total (via Paypal) with the customer’s credit card number and confirmed by Kahamut-An Cottages (via email).
      Prices are quoted in EUR and are subject to review at any time without notice.

    15. Mutual agreement
    16. By making a reservation with us you accept the present terms and conditions.

    17. Credit cards not accepted on site
    18. Please note that credit cards are not accepted at the guest house, we only accept cash.

    19. If a customer is having dinner, then the customer must check in before 19:30
    20. If a customer is having dinner, then the customer must check in by 19:30. If the customer checks in later than 19:30, then the kitchen might be closed and the customer will not receive dinner. The customer will, however, be charged for the dinner.

    21. A detailed total of the Guest’s bill will be included in the confirmation email
    22. We will include a detail total of a guest’s bill in the confirmation email sent by Kahamut-An Cottages to the guest. However, this price will not include any extras the guest may order on site (such as beverages).
      Kahamut-An Cottages is not equipped to accept reservation requests over the telephone.

    23. Kahamut-An Cottages takes no responsibility for any possible information errors
    24. While Kahamut-An Cottages has made a good-faith effort to ensure the information on this web site is accurate, we accept no liability for errors whatsoever.

    25. All communication with our guests is done by email – Please check the emails
    26. Kahamut-An Cottages cannot contact guests by telephone or fax. All communication is by email only. When you receive the emails, please make sure all of the calculations (prices) are correct. If there is a mistake, please let us know.

    27. Customer is responsible for the final details of the reservation
    28. The customer is responsible for the final details of the reservation. We assume the customer has read and understood the entire web page (photos, description, facilities, prices and meals, directions) as well as the final confirmation email sent to the customer which includes the cottage’s name, reservation dates, meals, total price, check-in and check-out times, telephone number and directions. Kahamut-An Cottages makes every effort to ensure the above information is correct. However, if there are any errors or misunderstanding it is the responsibility of the customer to contact Kahamut-An Cottages and correct those errors or misunderstandings.

    29. Customer is responsible for printing up and bringing the final details of the reservation
    30. The customer is responsible for printing up and bring all the necessary details of their reservation. The customer must print up and bring address, map, and directions found on our “Contact Us” web page. The customer must also print up and bring the final confirmation email which includes the cottage’s name, reservation dates, reservation number, meals, total price, check-in and check-out times, telephone number and directions.
